I continue to be intrigued by infographics and how they so effectively communicate information by combining text, data, and images. This one, published by OnlineCollege.org, shows what kinds of thinking are controlled by which brain hemisphere.

Knowing your inclination — right brain or left brain — is helpful for writers and students in general. I have always argued that writing necessarily involves both brain halves. We need the creative and artistic right brain and logical, precise left brain to do almost any kind of writing well — which makes writing hard for everyone. Or, to view it more optimistically — it makes all of us potentially good writers!
