New Video Post: “I Am Not A Noun!”

I often like to ask students a simple grammar question: “Are you a noun?”

It’s amazing to me how many students answer in the affirmative. Because we are sloppy about how we teach the definition of the parts of speech, we’ve got millions of people convinced that they are walking, talking examples of nouns.

Odds are, you have thought of yourself as a noun too. Watch the video and set yourself free from this delusion!
