Put Your Grammatical Fitness to the Test!
A little more than a year ago, I asked a grammar question on my Facebook page. I don’t even remember what the original question was, but I was surprised at the number of responses I got. So, I started regularly posting questions about common problem areas of grammar. Immediately it became the most popular part of my daily Facebook posting. I started calling it my Daily Grammar Challenge.
To streamline things, I created a website where I could post the answers and explanations and included a link on every Grammar Challenge post. Before long, I was getting hundreds of visits a day.
The problem is that Facebook restricts reach for pages tied to small businesses like mine. Only a small percentage of my followers even see my posts on a regular basis (I can only improve my reach by paying for it, and WriteAtHome’s social media budget is practically non-existent). I’m not complaining. Facebook is a business too, and they can do whatever they want to increase their revenue. I just can’t afford it.
So, I’ve created another way for fellow grammar nerds to get my Daily Grammar Challenges — by email!
It’s free. I promise not to send you any email other than the DGCs. I promise not to share or sell your email address. And I promise that it’s easy to unsubscribe with no strings if you decide you don’t want them anymore.
Disclosure: I include ads in the email and on the website for WriteAtHome. Unobtrusive ones. All I ask is if we offer something interesting, that you click through and check it out. But you don’t even have to do that.
Subscribers will get challenge questions like the following (click to get to the answers):
